HEART WALL

Another important discovery by Dr Nelson is the hidden heart wall. It appears that trapped emotions gather in the Heart Chakra forming a collective energy termed a Heart wall. The Subconscious mind creates this as a form of protection from emotional, spiritual or physical pain or injury. Although it is an important protective mechanism which can be absolutely necessary to help you survive certain traumas in your life, it comes at a price.

Energetically, the heart is the center of your being, it entrains the rhythms of the body (including the brain), and it is also a source of intuitive knowing. A Heart wall blocks the heart energy and gets in the way of the body having full access to the heart, blocking your ability to fully give and receive love and to be in satisfying relationships with yourself or others. We often hear of people feeing ‘Heartbroken’ who are experiencing deep sadness and loss, or those who feel an underlying sadness or dis-connection from a part of their lives that they find difficult to explain. This could be due to a heart wall. Clearing the Heart wall allows individuals to ‘feel’ again, to allow love into their lives, to nourish, care and value themselves…a truly wonderful and deserving gift to yourself.

I have worked with clients whose Heart Walls range from 2′ to a staggering 250′ depth and with various symbolic energies ranging from feathers to metal and bricks!

Can we prevent further Emotions from becoming trapped?

Clients often ask how they can prevent further emotions from becoming trapped. Becoming aware of our emotions and feelings and how we respond to situations, allows us the possibility of acknowledging and releasing negative emotions as they arise. If for example, a feeling of Anger arises, pause for a moment before responding, focus on the area of your heart chakra and breathe in and out deeply and slowly through the area of your heart, whilst focussing on feeling an attitude of love, and then breathe out slowly. If the energy of the emotion is very strong and it feels too difficult to do this, then allow yourself to really feel and be with the emotion, stay with it, allow it to surface and breath it out. If you are alone and you feel the Anger has to be expressed…take a cushion and beat it until the energy has been released..this a physical expression of the energy released in a safe way!!

Consciously doing this will allow you to acknowledge the negative emotion, allowing it an opportunity to dissipate which will hopefully result in you feeling more centered and balanced, being more alive and connected to the essential you.

By taking a moment to acknowledge the emotion rather than responding by ‘stuffing it down’ and potentially trapping it..you are replacing a negative emotion with a positive one whilst effectively realiging the brain, heart and nervous system which are all affected by the energy of our emotions.
