These beautiful souls have lived their lives in test labs, never feeling the grass or having the freedom to live a joyous life, until this day when they were rescued. The look in their eyes is heartbreaking, a mixture of fear and confusion. The video speaks for itself.
How can we humans, beings of a ‘higher’ or more developed compassion/ consciousness allow this to happen. It brought tears to my eyes and a deep sense of sadness.
Then I thought back to a passage I had recently read in Michael Roads book ‘Stepping between realities’. He reminds the reader, ‘that in every moment of our lives every person is creating the content and direction of their lives’….reading material and watching youtube clips that makes us angry, generating thoughts that are judgemental, critical or aggressive against others, we continue to attract like situations and events to us’. It follows, that we can focus on the sadness and become angry with the way that some of humanity uses and abuses our beautiful animals. Or we can see and feel the energy of those involved in rescuing the animals and the joy in the animals as they are set free and in the way that the Beagles react to those who so lovingly set them free. By doing this we bring the energy of LOVE to the collective consciousness rather than adding to the anger and fear which generates more anger and fear in our own being. This doesn’t mean that we offer complacency, or turn a blind eye to what is going on. Instead we can each make a choice, to choose love, to consciously choose to purchase products that are not tested on animals, to consciously choose to send the vibration of love to all of those involved in the use and abuse of animals. To those appearing to have little or no understanding (in this lifetime ) of the consciousness of other living creatures/ beings that inhabit this earth along side us. Perhaps it will make a difference as we consciously buy our products.
