Beagles first experience of Grass and Sunshine

These beautiful souls have lived their lives in test labs, never feeling the grass or having the freedom to live a joyous life, until this day when they were rescued. The look in their eyes is heartbreaking, a mixture of fear and confusion. The video speaks for itself.

How can we humans, beings of a ‘higher’ or more developed compassion/ consciousness allow this to happen. It brought tears to my eyes and a deep sense of sadness.

Then I thought back to a passage I had recently read in Michael Roads book ‘Stepping between realities’.  He reminds the reader, ‘that in every moment of our lives every person is creating the content and direction of their lives’….reading material and watching youtube clips that makes us angry, generating thoughts that are judgemental, critical or aggressive against others, we continue to attract like situations and events to us’. It follows, that we can focus on the sadness and become angry with the way that some of humanity uses and abuses our beautiful animals. Or we can see and feel the energy of those involved in rescuing the animals and the joy in the animals as they are set free and in the way that the Beagles react to those who so lovingly set them free.  By doing this we bring the energy of LOVE to the collective consciousness rather than adding to the anger and fear which generates more anger and fear in our own being. This doesn’t mean that we offer complacency, or turn a blind eye to what is going on. Instead we can each make a choice, to choose love, to consciously choose to purchase products that are not tested on animals, to consciously choose to send the vibration of love to all of those involved in the use and abuse of animals. To those appearing to have little or no understanding (in this lifetime ) of the consciousness of other living creatures/ beings that inhabit this earth along side us. Perhaps it will make a difference as we consciously buy our products.

The Art of Blessing

I was reminded today by a beautiful colleague of the importance of ‘blessing’ and coincidently why for some time I end my emails to clients with a wish for endless blessings for them.

I had read Pierre Pradervand’s beautiful book, ‘The Art Of Blessing” soon after it’s publication and made the decision then to practise the ‘Gentle art of Blessing’ as often as I could remember throughout the day, sending a silent blessing to those I felt drawn to do so, whilst walking through the town or passing people on the hills during a daily walk. I practise this each time I send an email, signing the email with ‘endless blessings’  to those I am writing to and sometimes ‘smiley blessings’ to loved ones.  As it became second nature I had ‘forgotten’ the reason I was doing this! until I was reminded today.. It had become second nature. The sentiments behind the gesture were from a desire to see that all are blessed with the love and peace we wish to experience in our lives. My beautiful colleague also reminded me of the importance of blessing our self, our own being, our own life, our own health 🙂

I recently saw Miranda Hart in her one woman show in Birmingham . She made the observation that children standing with their parents waiting to be served in a long queue to the Post office counter, could spontaneously start to pirouette or jump on the spot…clearly lost in the joy of the moment. they wouldn’t be judged or thought ‘insane’. However, if adults attempted the same manoeuvre people would think them crazed or drunk and silently step away for fear of being thought to be in their company. Miranda continued, If it was within our western culture to gallop to the station if we were aware that we would miss the train if we didn’t hurry, it would be deemed perfectly acceptable. No one would blink an eye at business men in bowler hats and executive ladies in tottering high heels galloping happily to catch the train. Wouldn’t it be fun if we could allow our childlike sense of fun free rain? Leaving the show I spontaneously began to gallop dragging my poor partner along with me ( he is a sweetheart and reluctantly joined in ) as two teenage girls galloped to my side and joined in 🙂 Taking a quick look around and doing a quick count of heads, there were probably 2% of the entire audience following suit. It suddenly struck me of the sadness that people hadn’t registered the ‘teaching’ that Miranda was giving us. Let go of the rules, the programmes of behaviour and allow our inner child freedom of expression and to heck with what others think!! I dare you 🙂

Sorrow

I have often wondered why we have to deal with sorrow in our lives, particularly when it can so very overwhelming and we struggle to see a way forward. Perhaps it is our Higher Self gently nudging us to heal, to release beliefs and programming that are holding us in the past. For us to acknowledge and release the trapped pain and emotions that we are carrying, influencing and preventing us from seeing our own true magnificence. Perhap this poem by Rumi says it so well

“Sorrow prepares you for joy. It violently sweeps everything out of your house, so that new joy can find space to enter. It shakes the yellow leaves from the bough of your heart, so that fresh, green leaves can grow in their place. It pulls up the rotten roots, so that new roots hidden beneath have room to grow. Whatever sorrow shakes from your heart, far better things will take their place.”

E-motion

This video shows an extended clip of the ‘E-motion’ film. I have included it in my blog as it discusses the role of trapped emotions and trauma on the state of our health and well-being. It features several well known teachers and energy healers including Dr Nelson the founder of The Emotion code. It really does offer great explanations on the importance of identifying and clearing trapped and unexpressed energies to bring us to a state of health and balance.

Children’s acceptance and raising consciousness

I love this video, it shows the beauty and pure acceptance of children. It really doesn’t need a description or introduction.  However, their consciousness will hopefully have a positive and enlightening influence on raising the collective consciousness with their ready acceptance of same sex marriage and love and comparing it to old and painful paradigms of the past. It also shows in one instance, how at a young age a child can be influenced by adult/parental beliefs, ‘owning’ the belief that their parents/society hold, without having a true understanding of ‘why’ they believe it. A wonderful video, perhaps our future is safe in their hands 🙂

Strength and courage…love

I love this video.There is a couple whose home was destroyed, an amputee, a homeless woman, and a couple experiencing difficulty.  At the end of the video, although the house is still destroyed, the amputee is still an amputee, the homeless woman is still in the streets, and the couple is still in conflict, they resolve to go on. For me within the lyrics there is also a realisation that all that matters is love, that we are all connected and we are there for each other. The Heart Brain

A wonderful description of our Heart Brain and the importance of our feelings. Loving ourself is so very important. Releasing our Heart Walls will allow us to connect so much more efficiently with each other 🙂
